About Kathleen Rowan Leigh,

Owner of Tokyo Prenatal Center

Kathleen (she/her) is a matrescence mentor, and birth and postpartum visionary.

Kathleen is an internationally distinguished writer, speaker and teacher at the intersection of functional movement and embodiment during the perinatal period. Kathleen supports mothers in connecting with their body and its innate wisdom, pleasure, and magic from preconception through postpartum.

Kathleen is a birth and postpartum doula, a licensed massage therapist and certified prenatal massage therapist, a certified Pilates instructor. She is also a writer, speaker and researcher on changing the paradigm of mothering and embodiment. She intertwines all of these areas of expertise into classes, circles and courses to hold space for mothers to heal and thrive through movement, touch and education.

Kathleen has two beautiful daughters who are her inspiration and muses for learning, teaching and growing. She owns Tokyo Prenatal Center, and currently lives in Tokyo, Japan.
